Freshness starts with drying: let your Bamboos dry fully between wears. After workouts or hot days, wash rather than rewear. Use the right amount of detergent—too much leaves residue that traps odor. Every few weeks, run the vinegar rinse above to clear buildup.
Pilling is friction plus abrasion. To prevent it:
-
Wash inside out and choose gentle cycles.
-
Separate from heavy or rough items (denim, towels, zippers). Use a laundry bag when you can.
-
Don’t overfill the machine—clothes need room to move.
-
Line dry. Tumble dryers accelerate surface wear.
If pilling appears, a fabric comb or lint shaver can tidy the surface without harming the knit. The best defense is still low heat, low friction, and light detergent.
